SciFace Software GmbH & Co. KG was founded by Prof. Benno Fuchssteiner in 1997 as a spin-off from the MuPAD Research Group of the University of Paderborn, Germany. This research group developed the computer algebra system MuPAD from 1990 until 1996 and supported the further development of MuPAD Pro until 2006. SciFace Software GmbH & Co. KG wurde 1997 von Prof. Dr. Benno Fuchssteiner als Ausgliederung aus der MuPAD Forschungsgruppe der Universität Paderborn, Deutschland gegründet. Die MuPAD Forschungsgruppe entwickelte das Computeralgebra-System MuPAD von 1990 bis 1996 und unterstützte die weitere Entwicklung von MuPAD Pro bis 2006.

The CEO of SciFace Software is Dr. Oliver Kluge. Most of our employees are former leading members of the MuPAD Research Group. Geschäftsführer von SciFace Software ist Dr. Oliver Kluge. Unserer Mitarbeiter sind überwiegend ehemalige führende Mitglieder der MuPAD Forschungsgruppe.

The goal of SciFace Software is "making Science accessible" by providing professional, open tools that aid the user in understanding and solving scientific, especially mathematical, problems. SciFace works in the fields of Open Computer Algebra Systems and Interactive Scientific Media. Das Ziel von SciFace Software ist, mathematische Forschung über professionelle, offene Werkzeuge, die das Verstehen und Lösen von wissenschaftlichen und insbesondere mathematischen Problemstellungen unterstützen, zugänglich zu machen. SciFace arbeitet in den Bereichen Offene Computer Algebra Systeme und Interaktive Wissenschaftliche Medien.
